Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Location: Beacon Falls, CT

Job Type: Full-Time | Temp to Hire

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday | On-site

About the Role:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level, desk-based role perfect for someone who enjoys data, structure, and keeping things behind the scenes running smoothly. If you love Excel and thrive in a fast-paced office, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the accounting team (data entry, file management, and team coordination).
• Assist with reconciliations, invoice tracking, and ledger support.
• Maintain accurate and organized records (digital and paper).
• Prepare and update spreadsheets and financial reports.
• Help with other accounting and operations tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Advanced Excel skills – must be confident with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysis.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP tools is a plus.

Important:

All candidates must pass an Excel skills test (75%+ required, 80% preferred).
