About the Role

We are seeking an After-School Instrumental Music Instructor to provide individualized and small-group music lessons with a focus on piano instruction for students in Pre-K through 5th grade. Additional experience with other instruments, such as drums or guitar, is highly desirable but not required.

This role is not a general classroom music position; it is dedicated to after-school instrumental instruction only.

• Deliver after-school piano lessons for students in Pre-K through 5th grade

• Teach additional instruments (e.g., drums or guitar) depending on your skills

• Design age-appropriate music lessons that support skill-building and student engagement
\n
• Prepare students for performances or showcases
\n
• Maintain a consistent and professional after-school learning environment
\n

What We Are Looking For

\n
• High school diploma required; degree in Music, Music Education, or related field preferred
\n
• Proficiency in piano required; ability to teach drums and/or guitar is a plus
\n
• Prior experience teaching private or small group instrumental lessons
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage small groups of students after school
\n
