Now Hiring: Cable Assemblers – Poway, CA

We’re hiring Cable Assemblers to join a leading defense and diversified technologies company.

Location: Poway, CA

Pay Rate:

• 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 2:30 PM): $25.96/hr

• 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 12:30 AM): $27.26/hr

Duration: 6 Months (with potential to extend)

What You'll Do:

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components, including cables, harnesses, and panels
• Build cables up to 4 miles long, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Read and interpret wiring schematics, blueprints, and wire lists
• Follow detailed written instructions (must be able to read English fluently)
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and precision
• Perform setups, adjustments, rework, and inspections as needed
• Use various tools, including hot tweezers, soldering irons, compression tools, calipers, tape measures, and power tools
• Apply soldering techniques (soldering certificate preferred)
• Follow IPC-620 standards (certification a plus)
• Understand and interpret engineering terminology, specifications, and documentation
• Support team training efforts and assist with general cleanup and housekeeping duties

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly diagrams
• Familiarity with tools and warehouse operations
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift/move materials as needed
• Eligibility for DoD Security Clearance
