We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team in the fabrication and assembly of conductor rail systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in measuring, bending, cutting, and assembling metallic components, with strong proficiency in using hand and power tools. This role requires a commitment to safety, precision, and quality standards.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure and mark materials according to technical drawings and specifications.

• Cut, bend, and shape conductor rails using appropriate tools and machinery.

• Assemble conductor rail components using mechanical fasteners and/or welding, as required.

• Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment (e.g., saws, drills, grinders, pipe benders).

• Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety and technical standards.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work orders.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.

• Assist with inventory control and material handling.

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or mechanical assembly environment.

• Proficient in the use of hand tools (e.g., wrenches, hammers, files) and power tools (e.g., drills, grinders, saws).

• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and blueprint reading.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks.

• Knowledge of electrical safety and conductor rail systems is a plus.
