AVP, Account Executive – People Solutions (Employee Benefits) Join to apply for the AVP, Account Executive – People Solutions (Employee Benefits) role at Lockton . Your Responsibilities The Account Executive is the strategic leader of the client management team, supporting the client's benefits strategy for complex needs. This role involves developing and driving benefits strategies aligned with organizational goals, monitoring program success, and providing innovative solutions. The Account Executive leads, coaches, and mentors the service team, including Account Managers and Analysts. Ensure overall client satisfaction, relationships, and retention. Handle escalated service issues and define annual service activities. Drive strategic planning with clients, evaluate data, and recommend renewal and stewardship plans considering market innovations. Develop communication strategies and long-term engagement campaigns to increase employee involvement. Monitor account expenses, ensure profitability, and collaborate on client engagement strategies. Support carrier negotiations, oversee client onboarding, and establish key reporting metrics. Build strong client relationships, provide strategic advice, and ensure client needs are met. Apply business acumen, decision-making, adaptability, innovation, planning, and stress management skills. Foster a culture of trust, demonstrate courage, empower teams, and engage in coaching for performance improvement. Qualifications 8–10 years’ experience in Employee Benefits client services, including coverage placement. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the insurance industry. Life/Health license or ability to obtain immediately. Expertise in group benefits, financial arrangements, and legal issues related to insurance. Strong relationships with insurance carriers and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and executive presentation skills.
