A respected boutique law firm in Washington, D.C., is seeking two junior associates (1st 4th year) to join its prestigious Bankruptcy/Creditors Rights practice group. This practice frequently handles high-profile, complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, focusing on resolving disputes that affect creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Candidates from the graduating classes of 20202023 are encouraged to apply. While bankruptcy experience is not required, those with exposure to bankruptcy or creditors rights will receive additional consideration.

Requirements

• 14 years of litigation experience (law firm or clerkship background preferred)
• Exposure to bankruptcy or creditors rights a plus
• Strong academic credentials (top-tier law school performance)
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
• District of Columbia Bar admission required (or eligibility to waive in)

This firm offers competitive compensation starting at $225,000, with a generous signing bonus, relocation stipend (if applicable), and excellent benefits, including 100% firm-paid healthcare premiums, employer 401(k) contributions, and up to 18 weeks of parental leave.
