Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Billing Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for a designated portfolio of attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full legal billing cycle, including prebills, invoice processing, rate management, task and activity coding, invoice review, and handling appeals.
• Manage a portfolio of client invoices for assigned attorneys.
• Process and submit invoices through electronic billing systems, generate LEDES files, and apply appropriate litigation codes.
• Monitor e-billing workflow, resolve submission issues, and revise rejected invoices as necessary.
• Maintain accurate billing records, notes, and client-specific documentation.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a law firm environment, with direct involvement in electronic billing.
• Prior experience with medical malpractice billing is required.
• Proficiency with e-billing platforms such as TyMetrix360, CounselLink, Legal Solutions Suite (LSS), ResolveStar , and others.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Elite Enterprise or Elite 3E billing systems.
• Familiarity with e-BillingHub .
