Position: Business Analyst

Term: Long term contract (Opportunity to Extend or Convert)

Location: Onsite in Torrance, CA

Pay: $40-$45/hr

Position Summary

Seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support a customer experience and design program through materials development, data analysis, testing, and documentation. This role will focus on enabling the successful delivery of initiatives aligned with business and user goals.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Analyze dashboards, reports, and data; recommend actionable steps
• Break down product roadmap features into actionable user stories
• Write detailed business requirements and documentation
• Develop clear user stories with narrative and acceptance criteria
• Support user journey mapping through research and coordination
• Perform data analysis, visualization, and modeling
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to manage dependencies
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams
• Use project tools (e.g., JIRA) to manage backlogs and requirements

Team & Departmental Support

• Assist in agile transformation and promote best practices
• Prepare documentation for weekly, executive, and ad hoc meetings
• Support change management efforts
• Mentor junior staff and ensure project alignment with strategic goals
