Job Description
At RMV Construction , we are a trusted general contractor known for delivering high-quality commercial construction projects. We take pride in craftsmanship, professionalism, and building lasting relationships with our clients. We are currently looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our growing team.
The Carpenter will play a key role in executing construction and renovation projects. You will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures with a high level of precision and craftsmanship. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and takes pride in quality work.
Interpret blueprints, sketches, and project plans.
Construct, install, and repair structural frameworks and finish components such as walls, floors, doors, windows, cabinetry, and siding.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using measuring tools.
Collaborate with other trades and RMV Construction team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure work meets building codes and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and provide progress updates.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience in a general contracting environment.
Strong knowledge of building materials, techniques, and tools.
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
Working Conditions:
Projects may involve both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
May require early morning starts, overtime, or weekend work depending on project demands.
