Job Details Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of engineers in various projects, ensuring that they are completed successfully, on time, and within budget.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets, providing regular financial reports to senior management.
- Oversee the engineering design process, ensuring that all designs meet the necessary requirements and standards.
- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to come up with new ideas and solutions.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering department, aligning them with the overall goals of the company.
- Ensure that all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and support to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree or higher will be an added advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in the Upfitting & vehicle customization industry, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing large-scale engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design processes, project management, and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
