About Us:
DataSource Technology delivers end-to-end technology deployment and network solutions to healthcare organizations across the United States. We specialize in executing high-volume, multi-site rollouts of critical IT infrastructure with precision and minimal operational disruption.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Cisco Network Engineer to support the rollout of a multi-site Re-IP project. This role will focus on implementing network changes, validating connectivity, and assisting with migration cutovers in coordination with the network architecture team.

This is a remote position with up to 20% travel to project sites. Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening, and must hold a valid drivers license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and deploy VLANs, update DHCP scopes, and transition devices from static IPs to reservations.
• Apply switch trunk configurations and coordinate firewall policy changes.
• Participate in site cutovers, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal downtime.
• Document configuration changes and maintain accurate site network diagrams.
• Assist with post-migration troubleshooting and remediation.
• Work closely with the Cisco Network Architect, field coordinators, and project management team.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS for routers and switches.
• Proficiency in VLAN configuration, OSPF and BGP routing, DHCP/DNS management, VPN setup, and basic wireless networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• CCNA certification required; CCNP preferred.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must pass a police background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 35 years of experience in enterprise Cisco network environments.
• Exposure to Cisco SD-WAN or Meraki deployments.
• Familiarity with automation or network monitoring tools.
