Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to support the Wellstar South Cobb market in Austell, GA. The role involves providing high-quality psychological assessment, therapy, and consultation services to patients in outpatient or inpatient settings. Responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments, providing evidence-based psychotherapy for various mental health concerns, collaborating with healthcare professionals for integrated patient care, offering crisis intervention and risk assessment, maintaining accurate documentation, participating in case conferences and continuing education, educating patients and families, and contributing to program development and research. The position requires a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program, an active license to practice psychology in Georgia or eligibility, and preferably 2 years of post-doctoral experience. Skills needed include strong knowledge of psychological theories and therapies, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities. Experience with EMR systems and bilingual skills are a plus.
