Location: Rosemead, CA 91770 (Hybrid)

Duration: 18+ months with possible extension or conversion

Pay range: $45/hr - $50/hr

Schedule: Mon – Fri

Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a portfolio of physical security technology capital projects (ranging from $10K to $1M), ensuring alignment with security standards and business objectives.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues to PMO leadership and key stakeholders while driving solutions.
• Review and validate physical security engineering plans/drawings for compliance with standards, procedures, and project goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders, coordinating scope, schedule, budgets, and field activities.
• Deliver concise project updates in daily/weekly/monthly PMO meetings and maintain detailed status reports (scope, schedule, financials).
• Oversee vendor performance to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Monitor and report on monthly financial variance for assigned projects.
• Develop project charters (business cases, budgets, requirements) and conduct field walk-throughs for scope assessment.
• Lead project status meetings and maintain rigorous documentation of accounting, forecasts, and MS Project schedules.
• Enforce safety protocols and compliance with organizational safety standards.

Required Skills/Attributes:

• 5+ years of project management experience in physical security, construction, or related technical fields.
• 2+ years of contract management and supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in MS Project for complex scheduling and financial forecasting.
• Ability to interpret electrical single-line diagrams, logic diagrams, and MEP/construction drawings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Desired Skills/Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• PMP certification.
• OSHA safety compliance experience.
