Job Description

Corporate Counsel

The business is a leading independent provider of communications infrastructure, including towers, rooftops, DAS, and small cells. We are committed to integrity, quality, and collaboration, and we’re looking for a Corporate Counsel who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make an impact.

If you’re proactive, resourceful, and motivated to deliver results, this could be the right opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do

As Corporate Counsel, you’ll play a key role in supporting the business across a range of legal matters. You’ll partner with business leaders, provide strategic guidance, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance while enabling growth. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including ground leases, infrastructure agreements, licensing deals, master service agreements, and vendor contracts.
  • Advising business teams on contract rights, obligations, and potential risks, while keeping agreements aligned with business objectives.
  • Supporting responses to RFPs/RFQs and assisting in the approval of new business initiatives.
  • Conducting due diligence and providing legal support for new projects and strategic opportunities.
  • Managing litigation with outside counsel when required.
  • Streamlining contract management processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely deliverables.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing guidance to support staff when needed.
  • Staying informed on industry, legal, and regulatory developments that impact the business.

What You’ll Bring

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years of experience in real estate, telecommunications, or infrastructure transactions (ground lease experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, drafting, and redlining skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); database experience a plus.
