Position Overview The Cyber Security Engineer works as part of the organization’s information security team to help safeguard computer networks and data from cyber threats. The engineer will assist with monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents while supporting the implementation of security controls and policies. Understanding of basic networking concepts, operating systems, and security principles. Familiarity with common security tools (e.g., antivirus, firewalls, SIEM platforms). Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Relevant certifications (such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA Security, or equivalent) are a plus. Preferred Skills Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating security tasks. Exposure to cloud security concepts and technologies.
