Join JRC’s Strategic Defense & International Operations (SD&IO) Team! 

We are actively recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Data Manager to join our amazing team in Dahlgren, VA. In this critical role, you will be the primary point of contact for data management related to the Aegis Based Weapon System implementation of Golden Dome . The Data Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining databases of technical data and engineering program documentation .  Additionally, you will coordinate with Configuration Managers to develop processes and workflows to ensur e data integrity , pedigree, and accessibility throughout the change management process . You will lead the planning of data migration and integration projects while supporting program teams with data-related needs . You will participate in IPT and OIPT meetings and serve as a n advisor to the Aegis Adaptations Product Manager.  

As a Data Manager with JRC, you will...  

• Serve as the primary point of contact for data management for the Aegis Based Weapon System implementation of Golden Dome .  

• Manage data storage solutions (e.g., databases, file servers, cloud storage) and control access to data based on security classifications and user roles.  

• Provide technical support to program teams on data management tools, p rocesses, and best practices.  

• Plan and execute data migration and integration projects, ensuring data accuracy and minimal disruption to program operations .  

• Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data is available and accessible when needed .  

• Align database workflows with configuration management processes to track changes to technical data, including drawings, specifications, and software.  

• Participate in all Configuration Management, IPT and OIPT meetings.  

What you bring to the table...

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline) and a m inimum of 3-5 years of experience in data management .  

• US Citizenship with an active DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level  

• A strong understanding of DoD data management requirements, experience with configuration management principles, and proficiency in using data management tools and databases .  

Bonus Points for...

• Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems.  

• Experience with PTC Windchill, SQL Server, Atlassian Confluence/Jira .  

• Technical experience in fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, or Aegis qualifications.
