Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst to support one of our top clients in designing and delivering data-driven reporting solutions. This role will focus on building dashboards, managing metadata, and supporting enterprise data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business intelligence, data quality, and reporting tools, with a background in healthcare systems such as Epic.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in Data Governance , including policy development and data stewardship
• 6+ years of experience in Metadata Management , including cataloging and lineage tracking
• 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics , including dashboard development and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with Epic systems, particularly in healthcare data environments
• Strong proficiency in Power BI or similar visualization tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools or concepts
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and modern data architecture

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business insights.
• Build and manage data models to support reporting needs across business units.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure data availability.
• Continuously optimize reporting solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Support metadata management and data governance processes to ensure consistent data usage and compliance.
