Direct Primary Care Physician (Open to Recent Residents) - Philadelphia, PA Location: Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties About the Practice
This opportunity is with a growing Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice that operates under a cash-pay, membership-based model. Patients pay a fixed annual fee for unrestricted access to their physician-no insurance billing, no copays, and no rushed appointments.
This model emphasizes long-term relationships, preventive care, and holistic wellness, allowing physicians to focus on meaningful patient outcomes without being constrained by insurance paperwork or productivity metrics.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a Primary Care Physician who values deep patient relationships and is passionate about proactive, individualized care. This is a flexible, low-volume, high-impact role ideal for someone who wants to focus on quality medicine in a supportive, autonomous environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive primary care, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, and urgent care.
Create personalized, prevention-focused care plans.
Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with patients.
Offer extended appointment times and same-day or next-day access.
Respond to patient/member needs outside of standard hours in a timely manner (no formal on-call).
Work from home and/or in-office as appropriate-office hours are flexible and physician-determined.
Occasionally visit corporate client locations, with advance scheduling.
Continuously refine your approach to care in a supportive, collaborative setting.
No insurance billing or quotas.

Hours: Typically, 9 AM - 5 PM, flexible; no weekend or on-call shifts
Setting: Hybrid - combination of office and remote work
Travel: Optional/occasional travel to local client sites if needed
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related specialty
Active Pennsylvania medical license (or in process; up to 6-month wait acceptable)
DEA certification (can be obtained after hiring if not already held)
Open to physicians completing residency within the next 6 months
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Must be comfortable with a cash-pay, insurance-free, member-based model
Willingness to occasionally travel to see patients onsite, if needed
Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000
