We are seeking a Director - Direct Express Product Management to join our Treasury Services Domestic Payments Product team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute the strategy for our consumer disbursements offering within the Direct Express program, serving millions of beneficiaries and being the largest government prepaid card program in the U.S.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, compliance, risk, legal, and operations to deliver customer-centric products that generate business value.
  • Set and communicate product vision, strategy, and goals to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive the growth and adoption of our product offerings across federal, state, and local government agencies.
  • Oversee program governance and stakeholder management to ensure successful delivery and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company objectives.
  • Leading and mentoring product management teams fostering a culture of innovation and customer focus.
  • Managing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for agile delivery.
  • Conducting market research, customer interviews, and data analysis to validate assumptions and identify opportunities.
  • Monitoring product performance and using insights to inform improvements.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and communicating updates and achievements.
  • Ensuring successful product launches and ongoing management, including vendor governance and transition planning.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years in product management, preferably in Treasury services, government disbursements, or related areas.
  • Proven success in launching complex products and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of prepaid card markets and customer needs.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Passion for innovation and customer satisfaction.

Compensation is competitive, with a base salary range of $136,000 to $191,000, plus bonuses, incentives, and benefits. The final salary will be determined based on experience and market factors.
