Job Description

Overview Marksman Security Corporation is seeking a Director of Security Operations. The Director of Security will oversee security personnel, ensure the site is properly staffed and officers are trained and motivated, and work closely with the client contact to achieve goals and objectives set forth by Marksman Security and the associated client. Base pay range : $70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Responsibilities Developing and implementing policies, practices, and plans related to public safety. Creating and maintaining a program that ensures employees are well-trained and properly motivated. Managing the location\'s administrative functions, including accurate and timely submission of incident reports, equipment logs, personnel documents, weekly payroll, and licensure compliance. Performing personnel-related duties, including professional development, hiring, promoting, performance documentation, scheduling, and terminations. Promoting a positive relationship and acting as a liaison between Marksman Security Corporate and Client Management. Directing and ensuring compliance with Workplace Safety procedures, employee orientation, and training documentation as required by the Client, Company, and government. Establishing and maintaining cooperative relations with local authorities. Qualifications A combination of formal education, training, and skills typically acquired through 5 years of verifiable work experience. Experience in Mall Public Safety, Retail Loss Prevention, or Law Enforcement, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive managerial and/or Public Relations experience. Additional requirements include a valid State Driver\'s License and current possession of, or application for, appropriate State registration. Practical knowledge of law enforcement procedures, technical writing, civil and criminal law, security procedures, investigative procedures, training programs, and personnel management. Physical mobility and fitness to perform duties (e.g., standing, patrolling, climbing stairs, driving during shifts). Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the public.
