WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :

  • Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable Project Management team.
  • Optimize maximum staff productivity through project reviews, prioritizing, and coordinating staff schedules, and managing workload distribution.
  • Monitor project progress, reallocating resources or adjusting timelines to meet goals and deliverables.
  • Champion the use of best-in-class tools and project management methodologies across the team.
  • Provide coaching, development and mentoring to Project Managers to elevate team performance and engagement.
  • Ensure change orders are created, communicated, and approved by Client Stakeholders for any work outside of the original project scope.
  • Monitor and manage the project management department budget within the guidelines provided by the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Represent Project Managers at leadership meetings, expressing project and staff concerns, seeking feedback on Project Manager performance and assisting in the dissemination of Company decisions back to the Project Managers.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding and professional development of Project Managers, ensuring a high-performing team.
  • Partner with People + Culture on performance, compensation and hiring practices.
  • Ensure proper project coordination and communication processes are followed by Project Managers beginning at RFP through project inception to final punch list.
  • Ensure key steps of the order fulfillment process are followed including project schedule creation, order planning and management, pre-installation meeting, scheduling and status communication, punch list, and project closeout.
  • Maintain clear process documentation and drive accountability amongst the team.
  • Lead the project management team to work collaboratively with customers, architects, designers, general contractors, flooring contractors, voice/data/audio visual contractors, electricians, and other project participants to ensure the expected customer project outcome.
  • Facilitate continuous quality improvement for project management processes and procedures to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service.
  • Maintain responsibility for accurate monthly project completion projections and invoice forecasting.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS :

The hiring compensation range for this position is a base salary of $85,000-$102,500 with eligibility for bonuses. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location, as well as internal equity and market considerations.
