We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, compassionate animal lover to join our growing team of independent contractor pet sitter/dog walkers at Robin's Pet Sitting Services.

As a team member, you will be assigned regular dog walks and be responsible for visiting clients' homes to care for their beloved pets in a safe, nurturing, attentive manner in their home environment.

The ideal candidate is personable, friendly, highly responsible, trust worthy, detail-oriented, able to follow direction well and has good people skills as well as is an animal lover.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide daily check-in visits to clients' homes to feed, water, and provide companionship for pets (mostly dogs and cats although occasionally our clients have other small animals)
• Administer medications, if required, according to clients' instructions.
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment for pets, including cleaning litter boxes, cages and pet messes as needed.
• Engage pets in playtime, walks, and exercise sessions to ensure their physical and mental well-being.
• Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and communicate promptly with clients and management regarding any concerns.
• Follow detailed instructions provided by clients regarding pet care routines, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
• Provide updates and photos to clients to reassure them of their pets' well-being during their absence.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding pet care protocols, safety guidelines, and client confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Team members must have their own vehicle in good working condition
• Valid driver's license
• Generally available for 5-10 hrs throughout the week from 8am-6pm (weekend availability a huge plus!)
• Let us know if you are open to short-term overnight housesitting stays as well
• Willing to undergo a background check
• Previous experience in pet care, vet tech, animal shelter volunteering, or related fields preferred but not required
