Responsible for loading and mobilizing equipment to project site. Responsible for performing and documenting water well drilling project tasks. Perform water well preventative maintenance procedures and other duties as required. Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Certification: Mud School certification preferred, State Drillers License Preferred, Welding Certifications Preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to attain a Class A CDL within 60 days. Work Experience: Prefer 3 to 5 years of water well drilling experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Mechanical/Welding Aptitude, Ability to operate all drilling associated equipment (backhoe, forklift, etc.), Ability to follow instructions and implement standard operating procedures, Ability to direct self and 1 to 2 others, Good oral and written communication skills, Willingness to travel and work outdoors. Additional Requirements/Skills: Physical demands include talking, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, using hands to operate small hand tools, reaching with hands and arms, lifting/moving up to 70 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to pass a drug screen and fit for duty physical.
