Job Description

The Driller performs routine drilling, sampling, and well installation tasks as well as routine mechanical work necessary to maintain equipment in operating condition. Responsible for loading and mobilizing equipment to project site. Responsible for performing and documenting drilling project tasks. Perform preventative maintenance procedures and other duties as required. Education required is High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience. Mud School certification preferred. State Drillers License Preferred. Welding Certifications Preferred. Must be able to attain a Class A CDL. Prefer 3 to 5 years of experience. Mechanical/Welding Aptitude required. Ability to operate all drilling associated equipment (backhoe, forklift, etc.). Ability to follow instructions and implement standard operating procedures. Ability to direct self and 1 to 2 others. Good oral and written communication skills. Must travel and work outdoors. Physical demands include talking, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, using hands to operate small hand tools, reaching with hands and arms, lifting and/or moving up to 70 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
