Driver Helper

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 7:30am - finish

Pay : $18 hourly

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist drivers with deliveries, finding delivery locations, and meeting delivery deadlines.
• Communicate with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to facilitate successful, on time deliveries.
• Install household appliances in accordance with guidelines set. Training will be provided in how to install appliances.
• Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Prepare, load and unload the delivery vehicle.
• Use additional equipment, such as forklifts, hand trucks and dollies, as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and obtain client or customer signatures when needed.
• Complete any paperwork related to the deliveries and complete reports as required.

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum of one year experience making in-home deliveries of large items such as appliances, furniture or cabinets
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work every day
• Ability to work flexible hours, as needed
• Must be able to pass a national background check and drug test
