Job Details Reference: SUNY New Paltz Vacancy External Posting: Research Foundation Posting Date: November 9, 2023 Classification: Annual salary range: $55,500 – $56,500 Role: Field Specialist within the Migrant Education Program. Duties Coordinate and provide direct instructional and academic services to Orange County migrant school‑age and out‑of‑school youth. Build collaboration and partnerships with school districts, public service agencies and community organizations. Recruit and facilitate student participation in local, regional and statewide activities. Participate in community and school functions to coordinate/enhance services to youth. Contribute to development and implementation of program workplan. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Experience with outreach. Bilingual in Spanish. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet‑based systems. Preferred Qualifications Background in education. Knowledgeable of community resources. Experience working with immigrant/migrant families and youth. Self‑starter.
