Job Description

Alphanumeric is hiring an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER to work in Lake Mary, FL with an environmental-friendly energy innovator focused on sustainability.
Pay Range: $47 - $51

This position is responsible for designing electrical power distribution network for the auxiliary equipment of our Gas Turbine projects. Our voltage levels are primarily in the low-voltage side (600V and below) with implementation of equipment such as MCCs, Panelboards, LV Transformers, DC Systems and Batteries.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform calculations, sizing of equipment (i.e.: breakers, overload devices, etc.), sizing of cables/conduits/equipment spacing, illumination level calculations, maintaining bill of materials, and other design duties required by complexity of project.
• Support electrical equipment specification (Motor Controls Centers, Power Supplies, DC systems).
• Interface with other disciplines to validate and support power plant design.
• Support technical inquiries from customers, vendors and field personnel.
• Use SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) and SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) for electrical equipment deliverables production.
