The EHS and Training Specialist promotes a safe, compliant, and well-trained workforce by developing and enforcing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and managing employee training programs. This role oversees safety compliance with OSHA and other regulations, conducts incident investigations, leads emergency preparedness initiatives, and maintains accurate training records. Additionally, the specialist supports Human Resources in onboarding, compliance tracking, employee engagement, and Workers’ Compensation case management. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in occupational safety, strong knowledge of OSHA standards, experience with training platforms and risk assessments, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred certifications include OSHA 30, HazWoper, ICS (100–800), and OHST. The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work actively in both office and production floor environments.
