The Epic Application Analyst II will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of clinical applications used within the healthcare organization. This role involves working closely with clinical end-users, IT staff, and vendors to ensure applications are optimized for usability, efficiency, and meet the needs of clinicians and patients. Responsibilities Implement, configure, and maintain Epic and other clinical applications, including EHR, clinical decision support systems, and other clinical software. Collaborate with clinical end-users, IT staff, and vendors to improve workflows and processes through technology. Participate in system testing and validation to ensure compliance and meet user needs. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Assist in testing and validation of Epic upgrades and enhancements, ensuring no negative impact on workflows or patient care. Monitor and troubleshoot issues with clinical applications, providing timely resolutions. Stay updated with solutions in Epic System and other clinical applications. Work with operational and medical leaders on strategic initiatives. Participate in all phases of the system development life cycle, including use case development and software evaluation. Engage in clinical rounding in collaboration with end users. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience, or Associate’s with 2 years, or 3 years of healthcare or IT experience. Basic understanding of healthcare workflows and terminology. Epic Certification (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Inpatient, Radiant, Cupid, etc.) required. Occasional travel may be required. Experience communicating with diverse audiences via verbal and written modalities. Knowledge of clinical workflows, processes, and clinical software implementation/support. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills for technical communication with clinical staff and stakeholders. Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfacing preferred.
