About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Budget, Grant Programs, and Risk Management to lead a department with a strong focus on financial and administrative excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, directing, and supervising the district's budget, grant, and risk management programs, ensuring compliance with all state and federal requirements and board policies. This role involves overseeing the development and management of the district's budgeting process, directing the administration of various funding sources, and providing oversight on school district insurance programs. The Executive Director will also be tasked with fostering strong working relationships, leading effective teams, and maintaining the district's financial stability through responsible fiscal planning. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, financial management, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A CPA or other professional certification is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' of experience in budget, accounting, auditing, or finance, and possess a deep knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, as well as federal, state, and local school accounting regulations. Skills in program management, complex problem-solving, and the ability to create and implement financial strategies are essential. The role requires the ability to work in a team environment, handle confidential information with discretion, and ensure the district's financial operations are transparent and in line with best practices.
