Position: Façade Restoration / Local Law 11 Estimator

A reputable and long-standing exterior restoration company is seeking a skilled Estimator with experience in façade restoration and Local Law 11 projects . The ideal candidate can range from early-career professionals with a few years of experience to seasoned estimators with a deep understanding of the NYC restoration market . Responsibilities:
Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents for façade restoration, waterproofing, and Local Law 11 projects
Perform site visits and assessments to support accurate takeoffs and estimates
Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and executive leadership to develop and refine bid strategies
Interface with architects, engineers, and clients to clarify project scopes and expectations
Track bid results and maintain a database of historical pricing
Assist with budgeting, change orders, and value engineering as needed
Qualifications:
2-15+ years of experience in estimating within the exterior restoration, façade, or building envelope industry
Solid understanding of Local Law 11 (FISP), NYC DOB codes, and industry standards
Proficiency with estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
Strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
Field experience or a background in project management is a plus
