SmartTalent Staffing is looking to hire a Freezer Order Picker for a food supplier in Kent, WA. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in freezer/cold storage conditions, have prior experience operating electric pallet jacks and cherry picker forklift, and be skilled in picking, packing and staging orders accurately and efficiently.

P AY: $21.50

TITLE & SHIFT: Freezer Order Picker, Swing Shift

LOCATION: Kent, WA

SCHEDULE: Sunday – Thursday, 1pm – 9:30pm + OT when needed **MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1 ST SHIFT FOR A COUPLE WEEKS*

JOB DUTIES:

· Operate electric pallet jack and cherry picker forklift safely and efficiently.

· Pick customer orders from freezer storage using RF scanners or pick tickets.

· Ensure correct items and quantities are selected and staged.

· Work in temperatures ranging from -10°F to 32°F for extended periods.

· Wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipping or staging.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of freezer and warehouse areas.

· Follow safety protocols and report any equipment or inventory issues.

· Meet productivity and accuracy standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Good attendance is an absolute must!

· Previous food distribution or cold storage experience preferred

· 1+ years’ experience working in a freezer environment preferred

· Proficient in using electric pallet jack and cherry picker forklift

· Ability to work in cold environments for extended shifts.

· Comfortable with physical labor: lifting up to 50lbs, standing, and walking for long periods.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
