Overview Join to apply for the Furniture Sales Trainer and Director role at The Furniture Warehouse . The Furniture Warehouse is located in the SW Florida area with 6 showrooms. We are seeking a self-motivated professional with proven sales training, managerial experience, and an outstanding track record in sales. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting annual sales objectives and for the sales performance of the entire sales team. Director of Sales Responsibilities Leading and motivating staff to improve customer service with clients. Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales targets. Cultivating lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty. Developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives. Drafting detailed and accurate sales reports. Working with customers to better understand their furniture needs and goals. Maintaining a sales training program to train new employees. Meeting with sales managers to assess company performance. Reviewing scheduling for all showrooms. Working with HR to recruit sales associates. Administering weekly manager meetings and sales staff. Director of Sales Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in furniture management and furniture sales training or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices. Ability to manage various projects. Excellent listening, negotiation, and leadership skills. Outstanding written, verbal, and communication skills. Comfortable and proficient in Excel spreadsheets. Aware of and comfortable with human resources law. Ability to conduct interviews of sales associates and store managers. Highly compensated salary and bonus with excellent benefits package.
