The Membership Growth Consultant (MGC) is an outside healthcare sales representative responsible for generating sales leads and memberships by nurturing productive relationships with senior citizens, key local community partners, and senior-focused businesses to enroll new patients to ChenMed. The role involves arranging, designing, and orchestrating sales events and developing fun and cost-effective techniques to keep senior participation and satisfaction high, driving referral sales from satisfied patients to fuel membership growth. The consultant communicates the ChenMed/JenCare value proposition at community events. Duties include nurturing direct-to-seniors and business-to-business partnerships, meeting seniors in various locations to share ChenMed's value, planning and executing local community events, cultivating relationships with health plan agents and community providers, partnering with community officials and businesses to drive patient growth, scheduling sales meetings, managing vendors, leveraging marketing and sales tools, maintaining client information in CRM tools, providing monthly activity calendars, recovering dormant customers, educating potential patients, developing distribution channels, partnering with sales leadership, building trusting relationships with brokers and partners, engaging with new patients beyond their first appointment, and addressing customer complaints. The role requires high business acumen, organizational skills, negotiation expertise, proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, creativity, and willingness to travel up to 75%. Education requires a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields. A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience is required, with experience working with seniors and Medicare Advantage preferred. A valid Driver’s License is required.
