The Permanent Healthcare Product Manager, HR Core Applications is a critical bridge between IT and Human Resources, driving the alignment of technology with HR business objectives. This role manages the full lifecycle of HR applications, including potentially Workday, Kronos and HealthStream, ensuring seamless operations and delivering high-value IT solutions. The Product Manager will report to the Director, Human Capital and Time Management Applications, blending technical expertise with business acumen to support existing systems, lead projects, and facilitate strategic IT initiatives within the HR domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the building of products to ensure quality of digital application solutions.
  • Develop new ideas based on contact with department partners.
  • Manage, administer, and plan the development of all digital and analytics applications activities.
  • Analyze and recommend appropriate technical solutions for digital applications and integration efforts.
  • Maintain a leadership role in setting service direction and ensuring standards and policies are compatible with standard information systems architecture, tools, policies, and procedures.
  • Serve as the internal and external evangelist for Analytics and Applications product offerings.
  • Lead a team of developers, integration analysts, and engineers and mentor their professional development.
  • Develop broader awareness of optimal use of digital applications and integration enterprise-wide.
  • Lead in application selection, preparation of RFP’s, etc. in conjunction with the HSC procurement personnel.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the Information Services Strategic Plan.
  • Make presentations in front of large groups.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on configuring and supporting HRIS systems.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) managing leadership-level business relationships and leading technology teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, including planning, execution, and oversight.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and software delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile Project Management methodologies.
  • Workday, Healthstream and Kronos expertise.
  • Strong business relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Experience with identity management solutions and compliance.
