Job Description

This position will be responsible for maintaining traffic within the limits of the project for the duration of the construction period. He or she will be responsible for constructing and maintaining detours as well as providing access to residences, businesses, etc. along the project route.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Performs various custodial tasks, cleans, and maintains City grounds, and facilities.
• Cleans drains, clear debris, litter removal from public rights-of-way.
• Organize all equipment and materials needed to set-up, take down, maintain traffic control.
• Maintain traffic control, and handle traffic-related situations is required.
• Operates utility vehicle; use of trailer to haul material and equipment as needed.
• The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Job Qualifications

• A high school diploma/general education degree (GED).
• One year of verifiable work experience in Heavy Highway Construction.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards.
• Work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record. 
• Availability to work on other locations as the company need it.
• Must be able to repetitively lift to 50 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, and knee as needed.
