Hospitalist Physician at SCP Health summary:

As a Hospitalist Physician at SCP Health, you provide comprehensive inpatient medical care within a Level III Trauma Center and open ICU environment. You collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including intensivists and specialty backups, managing rapid response situations and utilizing EMR systems like Epic. This role supports a broad continuum of care in a well-established health system known for its commitment to compassionate, innovative, and community-focused healthcare.

• 312 Hospital Beds
• Level III Trauma Center
• ADE = 141 (16-18 ppd)
• Open ICU
• Onsite Intensivist team

• No Procedures Required
• Codes primarily handled by ED
• Rapid Response required with team
• Specialty Backup: Birthing, critical care and trauma, general surgery, orthopedics, independent cardiology (including interventional)
• EMR: Epic
• Staffing Model:
  • 7 day MD/DO & 3 day NPPA 7a-7p
  • 1 night MD/DO & 1 night NPPA 7p-7a
