Description

-Will report to Victoria Esparza (had a temp in-house for 2 years, but wanted someone externally)

-Mon-Weds: Come in on Monday and do time and attendance (looking at time records and no missing punches) and fill out Excel forms (i.e., exceptions), running reports for pay increases and entering child support or garnishments (mainly data entry prior to payroll) / will work on attendance – pull reports from Paycom and administer points to someone and type out write ups (templates in place for this)

-Payroll is every Monday and attendance every Tuesday

-When not working on this, they would clean up files (give active and term list and go through files that terminations are pulled, and files are in order). If they run out of items for them to do, would keep them busy with posting items around manufacturing floor, administrative tasks, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

-1+ year of experience (i.e., Front Desk, HR Assistant, Data Entry)

-Experience working with front-line workers (i.e., manufacturing, industrial, etc.)

-Ability to work with Excel Spreadsheets (i.e., data entry)

-Basic experience with MS Office Applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)

-Detail oriented and organized

-Ability to file and have attention to detail on reviewing documents/reports

-Familiar with basic office functions

-Comfortable with repetitive tasks

-Someone who is comfortable speaking with internal employees (i.e., union members, operators, etc.)

NICE TO HAVE:

-Previous payroll experience (not necessary, but just a benefit)

-HRIS system is Paycom (experience is a benefit, but not required)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
