Job Description

Role Overview: The SOC Analyst will work with the Federal Reserve System's NIRT, reviewing data and identifying anomalies that warrant further investigation. This is an evening/overnight shift, typically 7 or 8 pm until the morning shift handover. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week on consecutive days, though these may rotate to ensure team coverage. Role Highlights:

• Position : Junior / Mid - NIRT SOC Analyst
• Location : Remote (Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time Zones)
• Schedule : 3x12-hour consecutive day shifts Shifts can be any days of the week with 3 days in a row

Day shift only & the first 2 weeks are Mon-Fri 9-5 for paid training

• Clearance : Ability to obtain Public Trust (U.S. Citizenship Required)
• Start Date: Immediate
• Compensation : Depending on qualifications, competitive
• Background Check: Enhanced screening (criminal, financial, drug)

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (0-2 years' experience) or High School Diploma (6-8 years' experience)
• Experience analyzing large datasets to identify trends or anomalies indicative of malicious activity
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and packet analysis
• Familiarity with current threat landscapes and incident response methodologies
• Ability to triage and respond to threats like data exfiltration, DDoS, malware, insider risk, and phishing
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, firewalls, IDS, OS, databases, encryption, and load balancing Current Openings
