Kinesiology Student Assistant - FWS

The Department of Kinesiology is accepting applications for a Federal Work Study student for the 2025-2026 academic year. This position will assist the department's Equipment & Facility Manager with various departmental tasks. The student must be Federal Work Study eligible and available to work 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning learning/instructional labs
• Setting up classrooms
• Assisting with performing preventative maintenance on equipment
• General cleaning of equipment
• Other duties as assigned by the Equipment & Facility Manager

Qualifications:

• Basic mechanical knowledge or a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently or alongside Equipment & Facility Manager
• Dependable
• Shows initiative
• Willing to work 10 hours per week
• Must be Federal Work Study Eligible

Conditions of Employment: Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
