Lab Technician

A growing manufacturer in the metals industry is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support production and quality operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a hands-on approach, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in testing and product quality.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting routine and non-routine tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products

• Accurately recording and interpreting test results in internal quality systems

• Operating and maintaining lab equipment such as spectrometers, hardness testers, and tensile testing machines

• Supporting quality control procedures in compliance with ISO and industry standards

• Communicating quality concerns and results to production and quality teams

• Following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean lab environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred

• Previous lab or manufacturing experience is a plus

• Ability to follow procedures accurately and consistently

• Basic computer skills for data entry

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
