Qualifications

  • Reliable with BIG BOX store experience, mentality and etiquette
  • Able to work a flexible schedule as management requires, nights and weekends, especially during holidays
  • At least 10 years liquor store/bar work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role; at least 1 year of education from a college or technical; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven history of team supervision/or leadership
  • Ability to create scheduling, keeping a cleaned organized work space and able to manage staffing.
  • Ability to stand for long periods upwards of 8 hours at a time, frequently move about throughout the store

**Mobile and e-commerce sales experience is a plus and will be eventually trained/or required of all Tipsee administration**

 

General Responsibilities

Operate a Point-of-Sale terminal to process guest transactions, with accurate cash handling, other tender acceptance, and applying coupons or discounts in accordance with company procedures; also handle opening and closing functions including reconciliation

Participate in team member performance leadership by providing timely feedback, coaching and encouragement

Ensure standards of service are met by greeting and providing excellent service to all guests

Oversee general operations of company policy, inventory control, replenishment, and merchandising guidelines

Accountable for learning Tipsee Wine & Spirits’ product, and sharing knowledge with guests and team

Responsible for following and enforcing all operational compliance policy to ensure safety

Perform all typical leadership tasks/responsibilities including but not limited to; opening/closing the store, cash control reconciliation, delegating tasks and assignments, assisting with the hiring and training of new and existing staff, performance reviews, disciplinary write-ups and terminations
