They are currently seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join their dynamic and collaborative team, where you will have the opportunity to handle diverse, high-level cases and grow your legal expertise.

You will collaborate in developing strategic solutions and gain hands-on experience in a wide range of litigation matters. The firm handles diverse client needs, including corporate and business litigation, real estate and construction disputes, employment and labor issues, healthcare litigation, trust, estate, and probate matters, insolvency cases, as well as tort and insurance litigation. Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, pleadings, and assist with the discovery process.
• Conduct client consultations, take and defend depositions, and prepare for court hearings and trials.
• Provide support in preparing and attending court hearings, ensuring thorough case preparation.
• Prepare for and lead trials, providing strong courtroom representation for clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials and current admission in good standing to the Rhode Island Bar (MA Licensure is a plus).
• 8+ years of civil litigation experience, including trial work, motion practice, discovery, dispositive motions, and appellate work; experience with alternative dispute resolution (arbitration/mediation) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and upholding high ethical standards.
