Job Description

Elderly gentleman looking to hire a Live In Housekeeper for his home in Gatlinburg, TN.  The Ideal Candidate:Some days make breakfast (other days he prepares himself)- clean up after breakfast, feed and let the dogs out.  Then general cleaning of the house and bathrooms (not all of them every day, create a schedule) Check laundry and dry cleaning needs. Wash clothes if necessary, and iron his pants, and shirts, and sheets ~every ten days, check with caretaker on what he needs if anything. Talk with him and bond as a team. Shopping if necessary, use car, and credit card and cell phone will be provided. Check office (caretaker will bring mail and bills will be opened) and send copies of bills to bookkeeper by scanning with your phone.  Generally take charge of the house, keep it tidy and clean, and work with other staff (we bring in additional help as needed) to make things on the mountain work. Cook simple dinners every evening he is home. He travels rather extensively. (about three months per year away from home, and you and the caretaker will be responsible for the dogs and the estate) His daughter also lives on the estate in her own house. What Works Best for Family: Pleasant demeanor, smiles most of the time, takes life as it arrives in good attitude, not worrying about things and getting stressed.  He is in good to excellent health right now, and hopes to keep it that way.
