Soloh Partners is seeking a local contract Biomed Technician for a local contract job in New York, New York.

Position: Bio-Medical Equipment Technician (000084)
Location: New York
Pay Rate: $ 30/hr
Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

 

Duties:
- Repairs, calibrates, operates and maintains all types of basic medical equipment technologies, devices, instruments and systems.
- Inspects, installs, and provides preventive maintenance of general equipment.
- Much of the role would require stocking properly (checking for expired items), turning over the operating room, making sure machines (sonogram, rapid infuser) etc are clean and dusted regularly.
- Very Important that candidate is able to communicate and work well with other FTEs, Nurses, Anesthesiologists, they will take orders from Nurses etc anyone who needs help really.

Requirements:
- 1 year experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's Degree in Bio Medical Technology, Bio Medical Engineering Technology, Biomedical Electronics Technology or related field preferred.
