Aimic Inc is seeking a local contract Pharmacy Technician Level V for a local contract job in Middleburg Heights, Ohio.

Pay rate: $30.65/hr

Schedule notes: Part Time 2nd Shift Pharmacy Tech 1
2pm - 10:30pm (5 shifts within a 2-week period), EOW, Holidays,  Southwest General may low census up to one (1) 12hr shift per 2-week pay period
Orientation/Training will be scheduled on Day shift for the IV room 

 

Required:

• 1 year experience
• Certified Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy in OH

 

Job Details
Requirements: 

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent, completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program (CPhT)
• Required experience: Minimum of one year pharmacy experience preferred
• Required licensure, certification or registry: Certified Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy technician in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
• Cerner and MCG experience required

Position Information:
Works under the delegated authority of the pharmacist on duty to assess patients for inclusion into our meds-to-beds discharge prescription program. Facilitates transmission of meds to beds, prescriptions to our pharmacy, performs data entry, and delivers meds to beds, medications to the patient prior to discharge. Also functions as a pharmacy technician within the Community Pharmacy when needed.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
● Below are the duties and responsibilities for this position. 
● Promotes the meds-to-beds discharge prescription program 
● Facilitate processing, payment and delivery of meds-to-beds? prescriptions 
● Provides prompt and courteous service to all customers in the Community Pharmacy 
● Assists in delivering medication to the appropriate customers using proper identifiers and afford them the opportunity to speak with a pharmacist 
● Performs prescription/refill data entry and dispensing duties under direct supervision of a pharmacist and in accordance with federal and state laws with minimal errors  
● Processes prescriptions and refills to appropriate PBMs in accordance with their dispensing parameters 
● Assists in resolving third party rejections 
● Assists in inventory control
