Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Meyer Location Manager to oversee all functions of our Meyer facilities. This role includes grain handling, locational operations, office management, scale operations, , scheduling, hiring, documentation, and compliance. The manager will be expected to forecast long-term, maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all operations, monitor and improve location performance, and provide exemplary customer service. The goal is to mitigate potential capacity/material issues and implement appropriate actions efficiently and cost-effectively, in line with the goals of Ursa Farmers Cooperative Co.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Supervisory experience in a grain warehousing environment
• Experience with logistics and sales
• Intermediate computer skills for email, safety, housekeeping, and general office functions
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to company values
• Basic mechanical skills (intermediate to excellent preferred)
• CDL is an asset but not required

Position Responsibilities:

• Guide operations at the location
• Comply with and fully utilize the Safety & Maintenance program, working with the Safety Manager
• Coordinate with the Grain Merchandiser on receipts and shipments
• Oversee barge loading
• Manage inventory and quality
• Control departmental costs and financials
• Develop and maintain a strong culture of accountability among employees
• Train and develop talent at all levels
• Oversee office management functions as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Scale trucks, answer phones, and greet customers
• Assist the salesperson with cross-selling opportunities
• Perform other duties as assigned
