We are seeking a seasoned Mainframe Developer with strong skills in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting mainframe systems to ensure they meet business needs effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Analyze system requests and perform system development and support for mainframe-based applications. Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to deliver enhancements and reporting solutions for end users. Write, test, and debug COBOL programs and reports following established best practices. Develop and maintain JCL scripts for batch processing and job scheduling. Design, develop, and manage DB2 databases for application data requirements. Create and execute test plans to validate application functionality and quality. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the design of technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance. Ensure adherence to coding standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in mainframe development. Hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, TSO, IBM DFSORT, Endevor, SD/SF, SAVRS, NDM, and File Manager. Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills. Experience developing and maintaining DB2 databases. Proven ability to create and manage batch processing and job scheduling.
