Location: Newark, New Jersesy
Department: Radiology Diagnostic
Status: Full-Time (8 hour schedule)
Shift: Day Shift

Saint Michael's Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist (ARRT Mammo) to perform screening and diagnostic mammography in an acute care hospital setting. The Mammo Tech / Radiologic Technologist will provide exceptional patient care, ensure high-quality breast imaging, and maintain compliance with ACR, state, and federal regulations. This role includes image processing, PACS transmission, quality control, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:
    \n
  • Perform mammography exams per department protocol
  • \n
  • Ensure accurate image acquisition, processing, and PACS transmission
  • \n
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
  • \n
  • Participate in QC / PI activities and ACR compliance
  • \n
  • Maintain mammography equipment and department supplies
  • \n
  • Escalate equipment or service issues to leadership
  • \n
Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience

  1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  2. \n
  3. Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
  4. \n
  5. Current BCLS (AHA).
  6. \n
  7. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
  8. \n
  9. One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferrred
  10. \n
  11. Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
  12. \n
  13. Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency:

Saint Michaels Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $35.71 to $46.06 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
