Merchandiser responsibilities include daily stocking, rotating, pulling of products, and product displays at customer locations. The position works under minimal to direct supervision to ensure accurate and timely work to meet customer and departmental goals. The role also involves ensuring a safe and clean work environment by following company safety and cleaning policies.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Daily visits to Odom customer locations to merchandise and maintain products.
• Stocking and rotating products on the floor, in coolers, bins, or shelves.
• Examining stock to verify conformance to quality specifications.
• Performing job duties on time, efficiently, accurately, safely, and in a time-sensitive manner.
• Documenting the number of products or items received or distributed or set aside due to damage or "out-of-date".
• Participating in on-the-job training related to Odom procedures.
• Ensuring a safe and clean working area by discarding trash and empty boxes.
• Displaying promotional materials and building displays according to company and store policies.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must have proof of insurance.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must have your own reliable means of transportation.
• Should be physically capable of lifting cases and display units.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior retail stocking experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Operates a pallet jack and hand cart to transport products safely.
• Constant lifting/moving/pushing/pulling of 27-55 pounds and occasionally up to 170 pounds.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, lift from floor to waist and from shoulders to overhead, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Work Environment:

• Noise level is usually moderate, occasionally high due to outside environmental noises.
